Mar Vista Monday: 3512 Beethoven
Yet another lovely home on our tour of Mar Vista, is this beauty located at 3512 Beethoven. Because Beethoven is a “cut-through” street, these models have concrete block walls to maintain privacy and reduce street noise. The walls also make photographing them difficult! Anyhow, this home was built by Gregory Ain in 1948, and has 3 bedrooms and one bath. According to an old MLS listing I found, one of the bedrooms has been converted into a formal dining room, and there is an office/sun-room. The kitchen has been updated also. This home features a pool, and lush gardens (the mid-century California dream)! The last sale of this home was in April 2003, and it sold for $655,000.
