Mid-Century Modern For Sale By Owner: Redondo Beach

This awesome mid-century modern home was built by architect Earl Mason for his own residence in 1963. Beautifully updated, and indoor swimming pool, and killer ocean views makes this a true hipster haven. It was in foreclosure this summer, and was supposed to be sold at auction. It did not sell and is now being sold by the owner. I can help you negotiate the best possible price for this home. I’m thinking around $1,300,000, but I am sure the bank may take less. Give me a call @ 310-351-9798 to discuss a strategy. More awesome pictures after the jump.

Sleek bathroom– definitely not 1963!

what is the address of the property? Is this a bank own property? Let’s discuss.

Well Daniel, the owners of this property are trying to sell it all by themselves. It had been on the market earlier in the summer, but it did not sell because THE PRICE WAS TOO HIGH. Unfortunately, the homeowners were in foreclosure, and they did not want to lose any money/ owe the bank money from the sale. They were able to get the home out of foreclosure proceedings (I’m guessing a cash gift from a family member), but I think they are going to have the same problems paying the mortgage soon. Therefore, they are trying to unload the property now, but they are asking TOO MUCH for the home for a Realtor to waste time and resources marketing and selling the property. They are stuck between the rock and the hard place. When the bank repo’s the house, you will be able to buy it at a much better price.
